I am a London based Advertising and Editorial photographer, my work focuses on moments, lifestyle and portraiture.
I grew up near Lands End in Cornwall and found a love of photography taking pictures of my friends skateboarding on a Canon A1 brought with my entire 6th form grant. After travelling around the world surfing for a number of years, and a period spent working in a circus troupe, I studied photography at Falmouth College of Art before going on to assist Ad and fashion photographers in London. I started to shoot for myself in 2014. My work is about people and I am driven by the desire to tell a story - this is the essence of my images, whether shooting for a brand, or shooting for a magazine editorial, it is about capturing something that is both descriptive and beautiful. The majority of my commissioned work could be considered lifestyle, although I prefer the term life, as I try to keep it strongly rooted in real life and real stories. I also work for a number of editorial commissioners, shooting both fashion and portrait editorials. My work also pulls inspiration from documentary imagery which I shoot for both personal projects and also for various charities around the world.
